Dida Diafat

Diafat was eleven times world champion in Thaiboxen in various weight classes between 1992 and 1998. His life was the basis for the film Chok Dee - fighting for your dream from 2005, in which he also plays the leading role. He also appeared in the Horrorfilm Mutants (2009).

Ramon Dekkers

He was the most famous foreign Thaiboxer in Thailand in the 1990s. He was also the first foreigner to be awarded the "Muay Thai Fighter of the Year" award.

Put Lorlek

Put Lorlek was dubbed the “Angel Boxer” and was dominant from about ’70-’77.  Put Lorlek was one of those boxers who was so dominant that he would almost have to give up weight to find opponents.   To give you some perspective Appidej Sit-Hirun who’s legendary, was 1 for 3 against Put Lorlek.

Karuhat Sor. Supawan

Karuhat Sor Supawan was a muay Thai tehnician active during the golden era. He specialised in elbows and beat some of the greatest fighters ever to compete, winning the Lumpinee title on three occasions during his 190 fight career.

Jomhod Kiatadisak

Jomhod "King of the Ring" Kiatadisak (born 5 July 1970) is a professional muay Thai fighter from Phang Nga province in the South of Thailand. He started learning muay Thai at the age of 7 and won his first fight when he was 11 years old. In 1986 Jomhod won the Southern Thailand Championship in 59.6 kg weight category and the same year, at the age of 16, he moved to Bangkok and began his proper fighting career.

Orono Por Muang Ubon

Another highlight of a golden era legend – Orono Por Muang Ubon.

Well-known for his battles with popular western Thai boxers John Wayne Parr and Ramon Dekkers, Orono was an extremely dominant figure during the golden era and pretty much beat the best of the best at that time.

He wasn’t the most technical of fighters, but he brought a huge amount of aggression to every contest. A very powerful fighter.

Orono was a 3x Lumpinee champ and won the Fighter of the Year Award in 1994.

Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn

Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn (Thai: นำศักดิ์น้อย ยุทธการกำธร, born October 13, 1979) is a retired Muay Thai fighter from Thailand. He holds one of the highest winning percentages (95% wins in 300 fights), and one of the longest reigns as a Lumpinee Stadium Champion in history, remaining undefeated for the 135 lbs title between 2000–2006. He held wins over Muay Thai legends such as Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, Samkor Kiatmontep, Kaolan Kaovichit, and Neungpichit Sityodtong. Namsaknoi was the camp senior of international Muay Thai superstar Buakaw when they both trained at Por Pramuk Camp. He spent 6 years in Singapore where he was an instructor to the Evolve Fight Team at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts, coaching world renowned MMA fighters such as Rafael Dos Anjos, Tarec Saffiedine, and Shinya Aoki. He now runs his own gym, Namsaknoi Muay Thai Club on the southern Thai island of Koh Phangan.

Namkabuan Nongkeepayuyuth

Namkabuan Nongkeepayuyuth is one of the greatest fighters of all time. He was an extremely elusive fighter, but also possessed a lot of power. Namkabuan used a wide range of techniques in his fights and had a strong clinch game with powerful knee strikes. Also nicknamed “The Ring Genius”, he often outsmarted stronger and more experienced opponents using superior movement and powerful counter-strikes.
